Hi Guys, I picked up the kit today and fitted it tonight. The cable was exactly the right length and so easy to install! The steering is better than it has ever been so thanks very much for your help. I had great service when I came in today and Peter’s emails were prompt and easy to deal with.

This is just a note to tell you that the part arrived today. I am overwhelmed by the efficiency of service from the opposite side of the globe! If you had asked me to review Absolute Marine this time yesterday I would have given a 1 star. We bought our first yacht a month ago and since then have been busy getting kit for our maiden voyage. We have been ordering several items from this company – some were delivered ok, some items we ordered and paid for but were not actually in stock (something they need to address) and a refund was issued. The last item was despatched and signed for by someone proporting to be us (presumably a dodgy courier). Spoke to Coby yesterday who was I think equally confused as we were about what had happened. However, he said he would supply a similar (more expensive) item at no extra cost and despatch the item on overnight delivery. It has just arrived, meaning we can sail today.

Customer service like this is rare. Absolute Marine are obviously a company that prides and respects its customers and they will be rewarded with my continued custom. Thanks Coby.

I once had a problem but it was solved promptly and professionally. Customer service is great and friendly too. Would highly recommend for all your boating needs :)

Dear Steve I am writing on behalf of the Mercury Bay Game Fishing Club and myself to thank you for your sponsorship our recent trailer boat tournament. This was our third tournament and it has totally surpassed all expectations. This year we had a total of 131 boats and 400 anglers. Our first tournament in 2009 had 56 boats. It is proving a very popular tournament and we are looking forward to further growth next year. One of the main reasons that this tournament has grown so quickly in popularity is because firms like yours have shown great generosity in sponsoring this event. Without your contribution we could not boast of a prize pool of over $140,000. As you know this tournament caters for all types of trailer boats and for people who either want to specialise in snapper fishing or for the more adventurous fisherman who wants to go out wide for marlin and other game fish. This year we were very fortunate to have been included as one of the tournaments eligible for fishermen to compete for the Furuno Snapper World Trophy and we had a McLay boat as a lucky draw.

With 400 fishermen taking part in this event it means that a lot of people are exposed to our sponsors goods and services and I make every effort to ensure that our sponsors get all the coverage and publicity that they can both before and during the tournament. Our fishermen are encouraged to use our sponsors whenever they can. Yesterday I received, via Westpark marine chandlery, a new replacement instrument for my old W3100 which had failed. The new instrument has been installed and works perfectly. I wish to thank you very much for replacing the faulty instrument and it goes without saying that I will promote Absolute Marine.

We were recently sent this photo from the Te Aroha Angling Club after their “Take A Kid Fishing” day on 20th April 2013. The kids had a great day and all of them went home with a good catch. The Absolute Marine team approached me with a plan. The plan was laid out regarding target market, target sales goals and the road they would take to achieve them. They did just that. I have shown the unit to several interested parties ie resellers and boat builders who’s immediately reaction was where do we get quality equipment like that? I have given them your contact details. It may turn into further business. The great surprise was the speed of your chosen freight provider, I last spoke with you at about 2.00 pm and the goods were at my front door at 11.00am the next day less than 24 hours later. Few of our local firms are able to equal that. Thank you again.

Just a quick update on the MaXtek oven. My wife absolutely loves it. That now takes the pressure off me and I can concentrate on more important things.
