This ‘BreaktHRU’ – Hydrostatic Release (HRU) Kit from McMurdo is smaller than other HRUs currently available & unique in its use of a small pyrotechnic charge which enables the EPIRBs to automatically float free.

- Allows release of a beacon from a Category I bracket when submerged in water between 1.5 – 4 metres (4.9 – 13.1 ft)
