Description

It utilizes either the existing Vehicle Diesel tank or fuel can be supplied by a designated tank. 12v low amp draw manages the units operation to provide a constant 40°C out of the heat exchanger based on a flow rate between 5-10 litres per minute. In addition, the Hydroplate has an optional air heating matrix that can be fitted to supply air heating to the desired temperature, thereby providing a complete off grid Hot water and air heating solution.

How an Eberspächer HYDROplateWater Heater Works

As soon as the heater receives its starting pulse, the following processes are triggered by the central control unit:
• Automatic safety check.
• The glow plug is warmed up.
• The metering pump conveys fuel.
• The burner motor starts smoothly.
• The fan delivers combustion air.
• Fuel-air mixture ignites (flame formation).
• The hot combustion gases flow through the heat exchanger that delivers the heat to the coolant system of the vehicle’s engine.
• The heater is controlled electronically and works – according to heat requirement – in several power stages.
