After the successful release of the 701, 720 and 721 battery switches, BEP has responded to customer feedback concerning some installations where switches need to be recessed through varying thicknesses of panels.

Single Pole Heavy Duty Switch
Rated at 600 amps continuous and 2500 amps cranking it is well suited to larger vessels.

The DVSR (Digital Voltage Sensing Relay) allows charging of two independent battery banks from a single charging source. When the voltage on the start battery rises to a charged level, the DVSR engages allowing the 2nd battery to charge. When charging stops and voltage falls, the DVSR will disengage, isolating the two batteries from each other.

The 720 Heavy Duty Battery Switch follows the successful release of the 701 switch in 1999. It fits into the same contour lock system as used on the battery distribution system.

The remote On/Off key switch is used for the remote operation of the 701-MD and 720-MDO battery switches.

It can be mounted standalone or within the Contour Connect panel range.

The 720-MDO is a high current (500A), remotely activated battery switch.
Remote operation allows the battery switch positioned where cable runs can be minimized. Reduced cable runs allow smaller section cable to be used, resulting in significant reductions in cable cost, plus weight savingsThe 720-MDO Version 8 has new installation options, whereby the motor/circuit board can be fed from an independent 12V or 24V supply.

The 720-MDO-EP (Emergency Parallel Switch) provides remotely activated, high current, emergency parallel connection of two battery banks for a 10 minute period following activation of the remote switch.
